It takes a lot of work to manage listings before and after, we need to pick the right one, we have strong candidates. The team is highly judicious about making deals which support the long-term health of the project. The team has been offered deals which would massively dump on holders - the team is not interested in those deals. Setting a deal up with the premise of a long-term coin, not a pump-and-dump, is unique in this industry. The team has taken careful steps to demonstrate to exchanges that Saito is a real project and is not interested in selling-out. That's it! Is anything missing? Have more questions? Let us know on Red Square. 🟥

Hey Saitozens, Here is a recap of the latest "Inside Baseball" Saito Space broken down into three sections 👇👇👇 A: What people think our strategy is. B: What our actual strategy is. C: Building excitement at the right time. A. What People Think Our Strategy Is A1. "Wen marketing?" Some people in crypto expect us to prioritize influencers, airdrops or flavor-of-the-day, trending 'hype tech.' We see other projects in our position burn-out quickly doing this; our priority is the technology only we can deliver. We didn't buy our community and all of our support is organic. There is no substitute for that and it gives the project a serious reputation which helps us reach important players in the industry. We have the best Web3 tech and applications, we will leverage that for excitement as the market heats up. A2. Partnerships Partnerships are useful, but often in crypto they are just for show. Anyone who understands Saito and wants to work with us is more than welcome (and please refer them to us), but the team can't let outsiders who haven't grokked Saito dictate our priorities. The point of Saito is to be superior to other L1s, the best way we can collaborate with other chains is to provide fee-free transactions and the benefits of routing-work for their crypto in our ecosystem. A3. Third-party Nodes Team is interested in working with developers who want to run modified versions of Saito Applications on an independent node. For developers with big, opinionated changes, this can be easier than integrating their ideas into our own node. Team asks for a bit of coordination as stability around full nodes continues to improve. Reach out to them if interested. Anyone supporting third-party crypto on Saito is encouraged to go this route. A4. Hire designers? Applications have gone from demo, to polish - redesign of the UI is the final stage. Because Saito Applications don't rely on a server, and run pure P2P, many of the old design paradigms do not work. The Saito team is pioneering true Web3 applications, and the UI for P2P is new territory. It doesn't make sense to redesign the UI until the features are almost completely finished. That being said, we are open to simple stylesheet (CSS) changes. Easiest way to collaborate is to send a PR on our staging branch on Github. A5. Hackathons & Third-Party Developers Hackathons are expensive and easily gamed by unproductive developers. For a project like Saito which has created a completely new domain of development, typical crypto developers who expect Web2 often don't understand how to develop for true Web3. Saito doesn't print tokens, we don't dump on holders. We are a real team with a real budget and we use it wisely. Our apps are real, tangible successes, even if people don't realize it yet. We have learned from devs who built on Saito early. Our work with them has improved Saito's development experience and will help us onboard more. Any developer who wants to build on Saito is encouraged to get into direct contact with the team. Even if you are new to P2P and Web3, we can help you brainstorm and orient yourself in this new domain. A6. Feature Requests The team cannot overstate how much it values user feedback, but we can't always give everyone exactly what they want. The goal of the Saito Core Team is to build applications that give the most benefit to the most people and drive transaction volume - reminder: applications are to Saito what mining is to Bitcoin. While we can't always give everyone their favorite feature, the vocal desire for features often illuminates to us where we can make more general improvements. B: What Our Actual Strategy Is B1. Saito has Big Goals Our goal is not short-term price spiking. Our goal is top 3 crypto and global adoption. The industry norm is to pay for quick hype and dump on the community - Saito refuses to do this. B2. Shifting Away from Education Saito's strategy for a long time was on education, and that has generated a large amount of value for us, reputationally and otherwise.

Considering how strong a grip Proof-of-Stake insiders have on the zeitgeist and the amount of hate that intrinsically comes with presenting new solutions, Saito has done well, and education will continue to be important. Team is now moving forward to develop solutions for security at low transaction volume. Saito with full volume is more scalable and secure than any other chain, but we need to build volume. Our strategy now is to open up features on the native chain and use security mechanisms that can fall away as volume grows. Mechanisms for security at low-volume are currently in open development. The primary goal is to prevent cheap attacks which fork-away native balances on-chain. Finalizing the chain at quasi-random based on Golden Ticket solutions is one idea. We'd like feedback, but we aren't rushing this important work. B3. Application Strategy Application strategy has moved away from experimentation and demonstration to polishing the most compelling and useful Web3 applications. This includes, Redsquare, Video Call, Web3 Crypto (Arcade, possibly tipping on Red Square -- let us know if you want that) and our p2p live streaming protocol, Limbo. The past year has seen immense improvements in the usability of the applications, and the team is proud to be trailblazing so far ahead of any other project when it comes to true Web3. Behind the scenes work is also going on making sure the full nodes are highly available, performant, and stable - this is thankless work, but it is crucial. Saito is no longer building demos, we are building Web3 products. B4. New Paradigm, New Problems - Helping New Devs Saito has recently been called a "Blockchain OS -" there is some truth to that. When you run a Saito node in your browser, you own it. There is no central server which dictates how your Saito node needs to behave. This also means developers can't control what your client node does like they are used to in Web2. Design is often a challenge because developers need to support clients with more power, who can opt-in and out of certain features and apps. Web2 developers often have ingrained expectations of how apps should work. "Put a search bar there!" - "What are we searching exactly? There is no server!" There is still work to be done making this relationship seamless for both devs and users. We are in a two steps forward, one step back pattern. If we hire UI/UX designers too early, then their work will be erased by new features and discoveries about Web3. The most important trait about any developer working seriously on Saito is that they understand Web3. C: Building Excitement around Saito C1. Marketing The team understands the importance of marketing, and it has always been part of our plans. Hype and excitement matter, and we want to welcome it, but it is also important to remember that Saito is not a 'hype-coin.' We build real Web3 products and those are ultimately our best tools for promotion, because the recognition of their value is inevitable. C2. Saito is still Consensus-King Saito wins any apples-to-apples debate on blockchain. People either don't understand Saito, or they don't can't find any problems. People aren't ready for Saito. C3. Promotion Plans Our plan one month or two past the Bitcoin Halving is constant, weekly release of polished features. Leverage this to build hype and awareness via media appearances and discussions. At this point we will also be working hard on reachout, there are more plans prepared for when the time is right. D: Questions and Answers D1. Wen Realms and NFTs Security at low fee-volume takes precedence before the ability to freely mint and trade NFTs on-chain. Because security is so important, we can't rush it, and can't give a definite timeline on NFTs. Realms cards are through their first draft (thank you, @Darkus0 !), we encourage the community to help filter out the worst ones. D2. Where are we in the CEX listing process? A smaller exchange is interested, and we are still talking with larger ones.
